RETURN POLICY

We at StainlessDoorHardware.com will do everything in our power to ensure you are happy with your online shopping experience with us. We are committed to provide excellent customer service and assist you with your purchase. We understand that there are times when you would like to return or exchange our stainless steel door hardware that does not fit your requirements or needs. By permitting you to exchange or return these items, we allow for total customer satisfaction. However to make the exchange or return process as easy as possible for both parties, we ask that you follow a few simple procedures.

RETURN POLICY

Custom orders are handled by our office team outside of the website. Custom orders may require CAD/technical document approval prior to production. You will be made aware of this prior to your order. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required on all custom orders requiring CAD drawings. This deposit is applied to your final order of that scope. Payment in full is required prior to production of your custom order. The lead time of your custom order will vary based on the product and finish. The lead time will be specified on your order documents. Any delay outside of our control does not qualify for order cancellation or refund. 

Be Aware

  • All special order items or custom orders are not returnable and are non-refundable. The only exception is if there is a manufacturer defect or flaw to the merchandise.
  • Any product order that has already been processed (meaning you paid in full and received confirmation # for the products you have ordered) may be canceled within 24 hours of the order placement as long it has not already been shipped. Please see cancellation policy.
  • All returns are approved on a case-by-case basis depending on the type of item purchased and the manufacturer. 
  • Any items returned must be in new and resalable condition to be considered for a refund. 
  • If a return is approved a restocking charge will be applied.  
  • All returns are subject to a $10 processing fee.
  • Stainless Door Hardware (“SDH”) is not responsible for any return shipping. If shipping charges are incurred by SDH, this amount will be deducted from your credit amount prior to processing. 
  • Majority of products will be drop shipped directly from the vendors warehouse.

Reason Why.

Although there is no guarantee; in-stock orders typically ship out 48-72 hours after order. Some orders require longer processing from time to time. 

Returned or exchanged product must be in resalable condition.

    If in any circumstance a product has been found to have been used, miss installed, or damaged in any way (except for defective items), StainlessDoorHardware.com may decline any and all refunds, the item may be returned to customer at Shipping cost. This includes stainless steel handles, levers, doorknobs, pulls, hinges, house numbers, bathroom signs, and other stainless steel decorative hardware.

Procedure for Returns:

  • To make a return on any purchase from our website you must first receive an RGA # (Return Goods Authorization). You may receive this number by either emailing us or by calling customer service at 1-(866)-331-4147. Note: all claims for returns must be placed within 30-60 days of original purchase (date of confirmation number).
  • Note: Product returns must be shipped within 10 days of receiving an RGA#
  • The product must be sent back in original condition in original package.
  • After receiving an RGA #, the product must be shipped back to specified vendors warehouse. (unless alternative address is required by our discretion) (Please note that every precaution is made to make sure that your product arrives to you in pristine condition. It is expected that the same respect applies when returning product).
  • Once returned goods are received a visual inspection will be made on the product. If it is deemed resalable, a refund will be issued minus the restocking fee, processing fee and the original shipping cost (the restocking fee does not apply to exchange items).

If, in error, the wrong hardware product was shipped to you, or if you received a damaged or defective stainless steel hardware product, a replacement product will ship out once the damaged, defective, or wrong product has been returned. We will cover the shipping cost.

We will take every step necessary to prevent any problems with your stainless steel hardware product orders. Customer satisfaction is our goal and we believe that you will be pleased with all of our stainless steel modern handles and hardware. Our products include modern door handles, contemporary door levers, stainless steel pulls, deadbolts, stainless steel hinges, kitchen cabinet hardware, bathroom hardware and more.

CANCELLATION POLICY (standard products only)

We will cancel any order within 24 hours of the order placement as long it has not already been shipped.

Please send us an email at sales@stainlessdoorhardware.com or call us at 1-(866)-331-4147. Please give us your order number and tell us why the order is being cancelled. Any BACK ORDERED, CUSTOM, or SPECIAL ordered items cannot be cancelled after 3 business days of the original order date.

StainlessDoorHardware.com does not take financial responsibility for delays in shipping weather it is shipped via ground, air, or delays from the manufacturer. We highly recommend to our customers not to schedule any installation jobs of products ordered until your order arrives at your door step.
